Hello Kitty's fans!

check this out!

go get it gurls! (add to ur collections)

oh and btw, u can only apply for the cards IF you are over 18! So sorry, Sly and Fiona! Haha

Jaclyn Victor the 1st Malaysian Idol

got the album! *grin*

bought it for 38 bucks from Victoria Music Center in Sg. Wang Plaza today. My oh my, her album is selling like hotcakes! When I was there, 3 customers were waiting for the sales promoter to get her album for them! When it finally came to my turn, the sales promoter told me I was lucky as I got the last copy! *Phew!* Journey not wasted.

Spinned it on my CD player for at least 5 times today. Overall, it's a great album for a debut album. You cant compare her debut with Siti Nurhaliza's or Ning Baizura's latest albums. *duh* It will be totally unfair towards Jac.

Some people who bought her album, but didnt really like the album. I think it's because those people have not get used to her studio version of songs yet. If you spin it for a few times, you will begin to like it. Trust me!

A list of her songs in the album:
  1. Gemilang
  2. Cuma Setia
  3. Padamu Permataku
  4. Di Bawah Pohon Asmara
  5. Tiada Lagi Indah
  6. Love
  7. Bring Out the Best in Me
  8. Impian
  9. When I Fall in Love
  10. Tunggu Sekejap
  11. Gemilang "live"

Right now, my favourite song is Bring Out the Best in Me. Superb!

Go get it guys! You won't regret buying it!

Phew...

*BIG GRIN*

Respect if you want to be Respected

This incident happened when I was in Dave Deli in Mid Valley this afternoon.

While I was lining up at the counter, thinking whether to eat spaghetti or roasted chicken, there was this commotion just behind me, which at 1st, I thought they were friends, but hell, I was wrong.

Male's voice: Sorry, but I have to cut your queue because you are taking SO LONG looking at the menu. (the menu was behind me)

Female's voice: Nvm, cut if you want. I dont care.

Male's voice: Next time, please dont look at the menu for so long, SOME people are in a hurry you know. I hope you dont mind me cutting your queue.

Female's voice: Nvm, you are that kind of person. You can't be changed.

Male's voice: Can YOU show some respect to.....

Female's voice: WhatEVER!

*the so-called conversation end there*

When i looked back, the male's voice was from an old man, and the female's voice was from a young lady (around 17 to 20 years old).

A message to the old man: Respect if you want to be respected! You dont simply go cut people's queue! That innocent girl just happened lining up where the menu was at the time, and because the queue was not moving, she was just staring at the menu. Shame on you! And what's more, you werent on a rush, you were reading newspapers after you finished your lunch. A lie!

A message to the young lady: Very brave on ya to talk back at the old man! I couldnt even do what you did! I could only just curse him in my brain and hope that he will choked on his food! I admire you so much! You are my Idol!

REMEMBER: Respect first if you want to be respected! Age is not a factor!

Tidal Wave hit Penang

Fifty-three dead, 34 missing after tidal waves hit Malaysia
(headline quoted from The Star Online website)

(picture taken from The Star Online website)

1st of all, my condolences to all the victim's family and friends. It has been a terrible loss to all of you, my deepest sympathy goes out to you guys. May they rest in peace.

Secondly, I think that the number of victims can be reduced or zeroed if the government or the Jabatan Kaji Cuaca could have done something earlier. It was reported that the tidal wave hit Sumatera at 7.59am and it hit Penang at about 12pm. In this 4 hours, much could be done to inform the public to avoid beaches, to avoid using the Penang bridge, to avoid any places that are considered dangerous! Therefore, I blame it partly on the Government.

A reminder: AVOID Penang beaches and the Penang bridge between 7pm and 8pm on 27th of December 2004. A tidal wave might occur again between that period of time.

Mid Valley...

OK, so I didnt go to Penang yesterday. But as a consolation, went to Mid Valley instead.

Whoa. You guys should drop by Mid Valley these few days. Christmas spirits are everywhere! Nice decorations, a lot of BIG christmas trees, and you can hear christmas songs everywhere u go! Cool huh? There was this small orchestra (4 people) in the Central Court, and while I was admiring this cute girl playing her violin, Ginnie and the gang appeared beside me! Gave me a shock! Caught in the act! LOL. And while I walked around, I saw Zee Ping too. Hi, Zee Ping! Hehe

Then, I walk and walk and walk. I saw this sale promoter distributing some black packets to everyone. 1st thought came to my mind, CONDOM! He tried to hand me one. I was like, "WTF? is my face really that hamsap???!!!". I told him, "Sorry, but I'm still a virgin". That guy got confused, and when I looked closer to the black packet, it was.....

TISSUE PACKET! OMG, I told him sorry and grabbed the tissue packet and ran off! SOOO memalukan!!! LOL!

After that embarassing incident, I went to hide in Speedy for few minutes. I bought this VCD...

gonna enjoy watching it tonight! Hehe!

So pissed off!

I should be in Penang right now, but thanks to the last minute cancellation by my parents, I ended up going to Mid Valley instead! *ggrrrr at my parents* *still sulking*

GB sucks!!!

I was playing 3 games of Gunbound today, and while I was winning, the stupid server kicked me out for no reason! 3 games! *curse* *curse* *curse* Lost few thousonds bcoz of that! *still cursing*

Managed to study for 1 hour today (lame)

and now I can hear my lil sis banging the TV in her room *speechless* *bless the TV*

Donated RM5.20

Yeah, today I went to PC Fair in PWTC to browse around with my friend. We then had our lunch in The Mall's food court. They renovated the whole food court! It's alot better than last time. You guys should pay a visit there next time.

OK, back to the topic. I donated 20 cents to the tabung at the counter where I was paying for my food (too lazy to put back the coin into my wallet....tee hee).

While I was enjoying my sizzling mee, someone put a laminated card and a keychain on my table. When I looked up to that person, it was a young lady. She smiled at me at move on to the next table and did the same thing again. I read the card and it says that she's a deaf woman and bla bla bla...and that keychain costs 5 bucks. At first, I thought of giving back the keychain to her, but as I looked around me, I saw 3 young gals digging their purses to pay the deaf woman. And as I turned to my left, the food stall owner gestured the deaf woman because she wanted to buy one too.

I was stunned by their actions. I thought no one is willing to pay for such things. I thought there are no more sympathetic citizens anymore. Apparently I was wrong. Even 3 young gals are willing to pay for the keychains (maybe they like the keychains). But neway, I gave the 5 bucks without hesistation after that.

The feeling of donating....is nice. That's all I can say. I'm still touched by their actions.

Neway, I dunno whether the deaf lady is actually deaf or not. There are so many con-men around now. You just cant trust them sometimes. But I dun mind if they con me, coz they cant con God, and God will cane their butt!

P.S. I gave the keychain to my sister as her b'day present. Hehe!
